1. Controller

2. What we collect
Account data: name, email, password hash, organization name. Billing data: plan, invoices and payment status (card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers). Content: the videos you upload and everything generated from them, including transcripts. Technical data: server logs (IP, user agent) kept for security. Product analytics: usage events via PostHog (EU cloud), only after you accept the cookie banner.
3. Why and on what basis
Providing the service and processing your videos: performance of the contract. Billing and accounting: legal obligation. Security logs and abuse prevention: legitimate interest. Product analytics: consent, revocable at any time by clearing the choice in your browser (localStorage key "pc-analytics-consent") or writing to us. Transactional emails (verification, password reset, invitations): performance of the contract.
4. Processors and transfers
Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany/Finland). File storage: Cloudflare R2 with EU jurisdiction. Payments: Stripe. Email delivery: Scaleway (France). Analytics: PostHog EU. AI processing of transcripts and prompts may involve model providers (Anthropic via API brokers) under data-processing terms that exclude training on your content. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
Source files and outputs: the retention period of your plan (7 to 365 days), then deleted. Account data: for the life of the account and up to 3 years after closure for legal claims. Invoices: 10 years (French commercial law). Analytics: 12 months.
6. Your rights
You can access, rectify, export and delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent, by writing to [email protected]. Deleting your account from Settings removes your content and personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention duties. You can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
7. Cookies
Strictly necessary: the session cookie (authentication) and the language cookie — no consent needed. Analytics (PostHog) only run after you accept the banner; declining changes nothing to the service.
